Field, Farm & Forest summer camps give children ages 3–10 time to explore, create, play and build friendships outdoors. Our camps combine familiar daily rhythms with new discoveries and plenty of room for children to follow their own interests.

Our Summer Camps
Kinglets Camp
Ages 3–5
Led by Teacher Kendra, Kinglets Camp offers a summer full of adventure, creativity and exploration for young children. Each week follows a general theme while giving children plenty of room to explore their curiosities, make discoveries, enjoy free play and take part in new outdoor adventures.
Kinglets Camp builds on the play-based approach of our Kinglets Nature School while giving children a seasonal summer experience.
Coyote Camp
Ages 6–10
Led by Teacher Emily, Coyote Camp balances exploration and free play with teacher-led sensory experiences, group-building games and nature education. Children have plenty of time to investigate, create, move, collaborate and simply enjoy being outside.
Families interested in year-round opportunities for this age group can also learn about our Coyote Club homeschool program.
What Makes Our Summer Camps Different?
Field, Farm & Forest summer camps are built around long stretches of outdoor play, exploration, creativity and connection. Each day offers new chances to wonder, create, move and belong. Children have time to follow their interests, return to favorite places, build friendships and develop confidence through manageable challenges.
Our educators provide attentive supervision while leaving room for imagination, movement, collaboration and discovery. Daily experiences may include forest games, stories, nature art, wildlife observation, building projects, sensory exploration and quiet moments of noticing.
Activities respond to the weather, the season and each group’s interests. Our summer camps welcome a range of personalities and experience levels, and children do not need previous outdoor-program experience to participate.
Learning and Playing Outdoors
Summer gives children extended time to experience Vermont’s forests, fields, plants, wildlife and changing weather firsthand. Families can see more examples of outdoor learning and play in our photo gallery and meet the educators who guide our programs on the Our Team page.
Families planning additional outdoor adventures can also explore parks, trails and seasonal resources through Vermont State Parks.
